I need to ..’cut in cold shortening with pastry blender…’ says the recipe. I don’t have a pastry blender, nor do I want to go spend money for one! What can I use instead?

You can also use a food processor. Pulse the flour and shortning together until they resemble coarse corn meal.

My grandma always used 2 table knives, I’ve used a fork in the past. Now I mostly just use my clean hands.
