What is an ‘economical’ (cheaper) blender that is comparable to the blend-tec and the other $400 model?

I am looking for a blender similar to the blend-tec but don’t want to spend $400; maybe no more than $200. The soup preparation feature is not so important as the other features of the higher-end blenders.

you can always buy a cheep blender. It’ll blend.
However, they are underpowered, & un reliable.
A good blender will last you a life time. A cheep blender will last you 2 years at most.
Over time, a good quality blender will be more economical than a cheep blender.
