What is the point of buying a juicer when there are blenders?

Did I hear right that turning your fruit into juice is not as good for you as chewing it due to the activation of some of the good nutrients?

      there is a totally different texture, and when juicing, you can usually juice the whole fruit. if you put a cut up orange with peel still on, i think the pith would make it bitter.

      it’s better to eat fruit whole, or in a smoothie made with a blender because then you get the fiber. you do not get that with juice.
